The system currently under development utilizes our patented discripter and combines the advantages of electric field coupling, which features long transmission electrodes, and magnetic field coupling, which has the characteristic of not requiring ground electrodes. Currently, the "magnetic field coupling" system, which aims for power supply during driving, is considered a barrier to practical application due to excessive infrastructure investment. Development of a Non-Contact Power Supply System: Case Study of Multi-Stage Drill Pipe for Underwater Drilling

A project aimed at applying deep-sea drilling for scientific research, earthquake studies, and resource exploration is being advanced by the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC). Until now, we have been relying on battery-powered electrodes loaded at the drill tip, but the need for frequent battery replacements has resulted in significant time and cost burdens, leading to requests for a solution. In response, our company has been conducting trials for three years and has finally reached a stage where we feel the possibility of realization. 50W non-contact power supply system

A non-contact power supply system that supplies 50W of power to the load on the receiving side from a 100V commercial power source without physical contact.

Our "50W Non-Contact Power Supply System" consists of a high-frequency power supply, a power transmission coil, a power reception coil, and a constant voltage controller. It is a non-contact power supply system that supplies power of up to 50W from AC100V to the load on the receiving side without contact. The power transmission coil is driven at a high-frequency output of approximately 85KHz and ±50V, and the high-frequency power transmitted non-contact through the power reception coil, which is spaced 5 to 20mm apart, is converted to direct current by the constant voltage controller.
